I tried with several students and all got the same results: when executing the scripts to move the robot, nothing happens. I checked the topics, and there is nothing in the odom topic, and the cmd_vel is correctly sending commands.

Hi,
Sorry to hear that you are having that issue.
At least form our sid ethe system es working, but thats irrelevant for your case, so I would like you to try the following:

1. Have you tried with different browsers, like firefox or Standard Chrome ( not brave? ).
2. Here you have a Testing simulation to test the connections and your system to help us diagnose the issue: SIM TESTER. Launch it inside a Chrome or Firefox browser, and press the two first testing buttons and send here a screen capture so that we can see the logs that appear.

Agian sorry for the inconvenience of this and hope we can fix the issue as soon as possible.
Also any information you might have of the connection speed where this is happening will help also.
