Cannot save rviz config file

In section 2.1.1, I am not able to save rviz config file.
I get error like the below. Any suggestions on what may be the reason?

You probably pressed the Save Config option. Instead you should press the Save Config As... option and then select a directory inside your catkin_ws to save the config.
If you select a directory which is not inside the catkin_ws then your config will not persist and you will not see it the next time you log in
