Instructions on the course material say I will get the environment on the left. When I went into ROSJECTS, I GOT this environment on the left.
Should I proceed with the new instructions on ROSJECTS ? or am I doing something wrong

Yes, the environments are different. What you are seeing is correct. The course environment has the simulation on the top-right (which can be changed). In the ROSDS / rosject environment, the simulation loads in a separate window.
You are not doing anything wrong! And, yes, you can proceed with the instructions on rosject.

Alright thanks. To clarify, the instruction and project on the course material are separate from the rosject project. And I should follow the jupyter notebook instructions on rosject.
My initial understanding was the assignment given on the course material should be done on rosject for grading. I went into rosject. Followed all instructions and got a different environment from the one shown on the material. Also, different set of instructions in rosject jupter note book.
Yes you are correct. The instructions are different. In the course environment you will do chapter’s exercises. On the rosject, however, you will do your course project. ROSDS (rosject) environment is different from the course envronment. You will not do course examples and exercises on rosject environment.
