Copy the text from Shell windows

I am really new…

I run the course simulation (no matter which).
I get shell window(s)
I cannot copy the text from those windows. It just does not copy
Pls help

Hey,
Could you please tell us why you need to copy text from shell windows? We expect that you would

  • copy commands from the notebook and paste them onto the shell
  • copy code from the notebook and paste it into the code editor (IDE)

Please share a screenshot to help us understand what you are trying to do better

Hi,
I want to copy text from the shell for a few reasons -

  1. Copy error messages to here to post on the Blog.
  2. Copy text to be able to search the error message on the blog
  3. Copy results and commands I have already entered
  4. Etc.

Just select the text you want to copy, right-click on it, and select ‘Copy’. See the video below.
