I’m trying to change my password, I tried to do it from “forgot my password”, but sadly it says “There is no active user associated with this e-mail address or the password can not be changed”

Since you created the account with Google Auth, you can just click the Google button on the Login page to log on.
By default, Google Auth (and Facebook Auth) accounts can neither log in with a password nor change the password because their password is stored with Google, not us. But now I’ve enabled your account for password login. You can set a password now with the “forgot password” button.
PS: the password you set here only applies to The Construct; it does not affect your Google account.
