How should I start the rosject for the real robot project?


I have finished the ROS basics in 5 days python course and now I’m about to do the real robot project for the live presentation. I have been checking in the forum how should I start doing my rosject, as in the course it doesnt say how it is done.

My question, do I have to create a new rosject and then clone the project data from somewhere or its just to fork from the public rosjects and then edit that project
