I couldn't connect to the remote lab

I’m working on the ROS Basics in 5 days (python) rosject part 1, but I couldn’t connect to the remote lab. The error is in the following image:

I’m sorry about the problem you encountered. However, we need more information to understand what happened and how we could solve it.

It seems that you were actually able to connect but you could not run your program (perhaps because of a misconfiguration or robot was dead).

Could you please try again and send us the following information if it happens again:

  • A screenshot of the connection to the robot (the window showing the real robot video)
  • Can you move the robot with the joystick?
  • Are you changing any ROS variables in your code?
  • Can you run your program on the simulated robot?

I´ll try it again asap. However, I now share more information:

  • I couldn’t execute the command to teleoperate the robot (rosrun teleop_twist_keyboard teleop_twist_keyboard.py)

  • I’m not changing any ROS variable in my code.

  • In simulation, everything works perfectly.

Apologies for the glitches. I see that even the joystick did not connect.

We found a problem with the lab and we are working on it. I’ll keep you posted on the progress.

We’ve applied a patch.

Now, you should be able to connect to the robot without any problems.

Please let us know if you still can’t see the topics or move the robot.
