I am not able to select multiple objects to then use the Align option in Gazebo. I use Firefox browser.

Welcome to this Community!
Since you are using a Virtual Machine to do this, usually the left Ctrl button will not work.
Use the right Ctrl button on your keyboard to do the multi-select. It worked for me.

I tried what you indicated, but I still have the problem. Also, I tried using Chrome, but had the same problem.
I hope there is another alternative.
