For Exercise 3.2.1 it is supposed to set Fixe Frame to “world” but there is no “world” frame available. I already restarted the simulation. World frame won’t appear.

I agree that the description is a little bit counter-intuitive. In exercise 3.2.1, you have to ‘type’ instead of select from the drop down menu. There’s no ‘world’ frame in the drop down menu yet because it doesn’t exist. How to publish world frame will be covered in the following section example 3.2.1.

The world frame is a special case in gazebo, bceiase the world frame is the one where we link models that we want to be fixed to the ground, when publishing it then we essentially are linking anything there, both in simulation or simply in RVIZ TFs.
