I am currently working on ROS2 basics and I like to new display that looks MAC like. Though it feels a little slow to work with. Could you please tell me if this is because of my computer or is the graphic interface is taking way too much processing and not fully optimized.

Well, I don’t know what you mean by slow… we should have a video or something to understand your experience better. In theory the interface is smooth, but maybe you mean about loading some parts is slow, or autocomplete is slow… we need more information about when are you experiencing such slowness.
It is true that the student’s computer is playing a bigger role now in rendering everything, but most computers are able to do that without hassle.
So please, let us understand better your slowness experience so we can try to solve it
