I’m currently in unit 2 and on the first part of the project. Is this fastbot an actual physical robot? If so, how do I get my hands on one?

Quite a few months back, we deprecated the TurtleBot3 which was the initial robot in the real robot lab and replaced it with the new FASTBot.
Yes, the FASTBot is a real/actual robot that is currently in the real robot lab, ready for use!
You can also buy the FASTBot from here: FastBot | Open-Source ROS2 Robot Kit for Learning, Teaching
So, if you want to get your hands on one of those, the best thing to do is to buy one!
You can also experience using it by booking a time slot for the Small City Lab for your course project and working with it, live (as in live-stream, not living)!

Hi @girishkumar.kannan thanks for the clarity. however i would also like to know if there is a way to complete the course without actually buying the kit. Also about the time slot for the small city lab, how does the live streaming work? would it be possible for me to work on the robot or is it going to be like i would be watching someone work on it or like someone in person does it on my behalf, like i tell them what to do and they do it as i watch, or what is it like?
