I want to use the “Small City Lab”, there is an available slot and it says “New bookings have to be at least 2 hours away from consecutive bookings. Please choose another time slot.”. This is very annoying >> why should I not be able to book a free slot??

This message indicates that you have had two consecutive recent bookings. To ensure fair access to the robot, we enforce a two-hour wait after two consecutive bookings of the robot. Otherwise, some people might monopolize the robot.
But as I said: this is very annoying, when all the slots are green = available…
Yes, those slots would be green at the point of your booking. The slots might eventually expire without being booked, but this is a lower risk compared to having people monopolize consecutive slots.
That said, we are open to fine-tuning this rule for greater flexibility (perhaps allowing three or more consecutive slots) while still maintaining a fair usage policy.
We welcome your suggestion on what a “fine-tune” could look like.
