Unit 10 unable to select iri_wam_link_footprint as fixed frame in RVIZ

Hi all,

I was trying to visualize the movements of the iri_wam in RVIZ. Unfortunately I was unable to select a fixed frame. I have no other nodes running and the simulation was unpaused before. Are there any suggestions what could have caused this issue?

Can you share a screenshot of the issue? All you have to do is run
rosrun rviz rviz
And select iri_wam_link_footprint from the “Fixed frame” drop down menu:

I’m sorry, somehow I only saw the Fixed Frame field under Global Status and not the dropdown menu. It works now. Thanks for your help.
