Could you be a bit more specific on what exactly are you doing? Command you executed? Name of the Unit in which you are? .
I tested the basic unit, an executed the command:
ros2 run tf2_tools view_frames
And it gave me the correct tree:
So please, if you could give us that extra info, we would be able to maybe help you better
