This is normal for the unit you are currently on. The simulation does not load automatically.
Just follow the notebook for the unit. You’ll get to the command that will launch the simulation.
PS:
It’s not just a black screen by the way. If you look closely at the bottom parts, you’ll see some text (left) and the VM’s date and time (right)!
