Is ROS2 DDS multi-cast for traffic other than discovery?

Hello,

Does ROS2 use DDS multi-cast only for discovery and then the message traffic is done over uni-cast? If yes, is there any way we can configure this so that traffic other than discovery like topics, services communication is also done over multi-cast?

Please let me know about this as I have not yet found a good documentation to read about this.
